IREGC Chief of Staff, Philanthropist Mary Beth Ching Named Woman of Influence

YORK, Pa. (June 28, 2024) — The Investment Real Estate Group of Companies (IREGC) today announced its chief of staff, philanthropist Mary Beth Ching, has been named a 2024 Woman of Influence by the Central Penn Business Journal. The journal’s Women of Influence awards identify high-achieving women for their tremendous career accomplishments. Honorees are selected based on professional experience, community involvement and a commitment to mentoring.

Ching is a member of the Appell Center board. The center’s mission is to inspire, educate and entertain through professional performing arts experiences that bring together York County’s diverse voices. A longtime advocate in LGBTQ+ affairs, she previously helped to create, promote, coordinate and run Pride Night for the York Revolution from 2017-2019. Ching served on the board of The Black and White Party from 2007-2013, raising money to support HIV/AIDS-related organizations and causes in Central Pennsylvania.

“As a true professional in the workplace and a person who gives so much to help others, we couldn’t think of a more worthy honoree,” said IREGC CEO John Gilliland. “Mary Beth approaches every aspect of her life with a tremendous positive outlook. We’re incredibly lucky to have her as part of our IREGC team.”

At IREGC, Ching works directly with leadership to move the company forward, maintain its culture and core values, and coordinate a variety of important team events. She also works with investors, vendors, financial institutions, partners, state boards and member associations both in our local community and nationwide.

Ching was born and raised in Rutland, Vermont, and initially came to the York area to further her education, graduating with a bachelor’s degree from York College. Today, she resides in York with her daughters.
